Passion is my motivation. I love what I do, so naturally, work doesn’t feel like work. Sure after traveling for three weeks straight I miss my bed (and sleep), and after going through my 300 daily emails and 100 daily voicemails, I get exhausted, but the thing that keeps me going is my passion. “¨”¨
As an entrepreneur, I have complete control over the products I create and stand behind. I’m able to change people’s lives everyday, and hearing that I helped a total stranger gives me the motivation to keep doing my thing. My motivation is my passion for helping others.”¨”¨
For example, I had a wonderful woman recently wait for me for hours at one of my personal appearances. When she sat in my esthetician’s chair, I just knew something was wrong (not even thinking about beauty and skin at that moment). My heart and gut said, push everything aside and talk to her about her life, which I did. I told her that I could visibly see that she was hurting. She said that her husband was rapidly deteriorating from cancer, she didn’t have all her children’s help, she was taking on the insurance companies by herself, and working to support everything.
At that moment, we connected because I went through that exact same experience just a couple of months before I met her. I told her that I truly understood where she was coming from, shared my story and let her cry and confide in me while I listened. After about a half hour of consultation, I told her the next half hour was for her and her only. She needed to be treated and pampered. She let go and allowed me to care for her. It was incredible. She left me hugging and crying saying that she would never forget my kindness, and the others that were waiting saw the event and were all touched by the compassion that was shared.ӬӬ
Talk about motivation. Those types of situations further allow me to know that I’m here to bring happiness and beauty from the inside-out to millions, and I will treasure that moment to motivate myself everyday.”¨
