Anderson Cooper’s Hamptons McMansion buffer

Anderson Cooper, son of Gloria Vanderbilt and CNN anchorman, bought a property adjacent to his waterfront home in Quogue, New York. The 3,654 square foot home on 2.4 acres was purchased for $1.7 Million from the estate of Bud Schulberg, the writer of “On The Waterfront.”

Anderson was worried that the low price of the home along Aspatuck Creek would be perfect for a teardown, and he didn’t want some nouveau riche building a McMansion next door.
