Tel Aviv, Israel is gearing up for their pride month, which kicks off May 31. There will be plenty of beach parties, festivals and people celebrating.

Supermodel and Israeli native Bar Refaeli will be hosting a huge beach party after the celebration’s biggest event, the Gay Pride March, which will take place on Friday, June 7.

This year marks the 20th Gay Pride celebration, and the city is expecting at least 20,000 tourists to come for the festivities.

Just like at any pride parade in the States, Tel Aviv’s will consist of participants marching along in support of LGBT equality and pride, plus a colorful procession of floats, including some of the country’s most popular gay DJs. Before the parade, people will gather to see musical performances and speeches by celebrities and other public figures .

The parade will just be the kickoff to the weekend, as clubs all around Tel Aviv will be hosting parties to celebrate. There will also be an exhibition, Night Stamp, on display at the kick-off reception for the night parties held at Beit Ha’ir, to celebrate 20 years of LGBT nightlife in the city.

Voted one of the top gay beaches in the world, Hilton Beach will be decorated in Gay Pride themed décor from May 31 to June 6 and will host parties throughout the week.

On June 6, there will be a festival held at Tel Aviv’s Pride Center that will be a little more cultural. Dance performances and lectures about the country’s LGBT history will be held to give tourists and locals a more serious but joyous way to celebrate.

The city has already been in pride mode, decorating with rainbow flags and banners promoting the event. Last year an estimated 100,000 people partook in the gay pride celebration, and organizers and promoters say they expect an even bigger crowd this year.
