Manhattan-based fashion designer Narcisco Rodriquez married his partner, ad executive Thomas Tolan, over the weekend in New York.
Exchanging vows at the Gramercy Park Hotel, the 53-year-old designer invited his celebrity clients to attend, including Jessica Alba and Jerry Sienfield’s wife, Jessica Seinfield.
Alba tweeted several photos on her Instagram and Twitter.
“#Love #Narcisco+ThomasWedding #Beautiful #Life #Porvida (sic),” Alba captioned the image of Rodriquez wearing a black suit and tie as Tolan wore a white suit and black tie, each wearing white corsages.
Known for his women’s wear, including a recent line for Kohl’s, Rodriquez relishes his downtime with Tolan in the midst of his hectic scheduling.
“Tom makes Sunday gravy, meatballs and the whole deal. He’s a good cook, too. So we’ll cook together, open a bottle of red wine, and if it’s nice, we’ll sit on the terrace and watch the sunset,” Rodriguez said in an interview with the New York Times in 2011.
He is also known for designing wedding gowns for actresses Julianna Marguiles and Claire Danes, as well as the “iconic minimal bias-cut white silk sheath” for Carolyn Bessette’s wedding to John F. Kennedy Jr. in 1996.
“You search your whole life to find that person who is your soul mate,” Rodriguez said, fondly remembering Bessette. “She’ll always be my muse.”
