Tom Daley dives into fashion with a new campaign for Adidas NEO


This week Tom Daley took a deep dive into the fashion industry as the new face of Adidas NEO. The twenty-year-old launched the partnership with a photo shoot of him showing off various looks from the casual “street wear” brand.

Daley will be the first British face of the NEO label and will front its “Live Your Style” United Kingdom campaign. The new collection is set to include clothing as well as footwear and accessories, which will be featured in colors and patterns designed for everyday wear.

“It’s great to be working with Adidas on their NEO label,” said the openly bisexual Olympic diver. “It’s a fun collection and it’s constantly changing.”

Already in tune with his new endorsement duties, the 2012 London bronze-winner added: “The jumper I wore for the NEO shoot is one of my favorites at the moment. It’s a twist on a standard jumper and it’s exactly what I like to throw on after training with a pair of jeans.”

Daley will be donning a couple of NEO pieces for the season finale of ITV’s “Splash!” series. The episode is scheduled to air on Saturday, February 15.

Back in November 2013, Daley revealed he’s attracted to both men and women. Then nineteen, Daley admitted on YouTube that he wanted to put the “rumors and speculation” about his sexuality to rest. In the five-minute-and-some video, Daley then confessed to not only liking men, but also to being in a relationship with one, saying he “could not be happier.”

It’s been confirmed that the diver is dating “Milk” screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, who will be moving to London in the spring to be closer to the young athlete, according to The Mirror.
