Two-time Oscar winner Jodie Foster married her partner, photographer and actress Alexandra Hedison, in a private ceremony over the weekend of April 19.
According to E! News, a rep for Foster confirmed the news.
Though next to nothing is known about their wedding, or for that matter their relationship, Foster and Hedison were rumored to have started dating in 2013 when they were spotted at Alan Cummings’ one-man show “Macbeth” together, as well as on various other occasions.
Despite spending years with ex-girlfriend Cydney Bernard and parenting two sons, Foster only came out publicly when accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globes in 2013. She thanked her ex, Bernard, and declared that she came out “a thousand years ago, in the Stone Age,” but values her privacy above all else.
Hedison, who is most known for her role as Dylan Moran in the hit show “The L Word” reportedly previously dated Ellen DeGeneres for three years before they split in 2004.
