As the winter wears on, we can’t help but get excited about the prospect of more and more East Coast chains moving west to our glorious metropolis. With the announcement of a La Colombe Brewery and a Momofuku location, we’re already pretty stoked. But let’s get real: What’s holding up that Glendale Eggslut?!

Modern Times Brewery

The Olive Street bar specializes in craft beers of the finest variety–if the cute name didn’t get us, the beer would. The bar is slated to open in DTLA hopefully this winter.

Sweet Chick

In the mood for some chicken and waffles? Head over Sweet Chick on Fairfax when it opens this winter–the first LA location promises to bring all the flavor of the New York fried chicken joint, plus a fabulous West Coast feel.
