Moonlight and House of Cards star Mahershala Ali – who is definitely one sharply dressed guy as lobbyist Remy Danton on Cards– just came off a major Golden Globes win for his film Moonlight. Along with his newly upped status as award-nominated actor – and in some very hot projects – he’s making fashion waves, too. Ali has been sporting Dior Homme at various Globes week events: at the National Board of Review awards presentation, he wore a black very slim fitting Dior Homme suit – and an amazing textured flocked black-on-black shirt. The texture really made the look stand out. And not every guy can pull that off.
But his real winning number – we’re talking “en fuego” – was the Dior Homme tight suit he wore to Thursday night’s pre-Golden Globes affair – and it might be one of the coolest suits we’ve ever seen come down a red carpet. A chic black Dior Homme suit – with a giant red/orange flame embroidered on one side of it – and it’s not small! Hot, hot, hot. Smokin’ hot. Perhaps flame embroidery will kick off a new trend? We’re about to enter the fire and brimstone: These are Trump years, after all.
Mahershala and Dior Homme – what a match, right? (yes, that’s intentional).
