Whoopi is an Angel the Trump Family Doesn’t Deserve

Iconoclast, trailblazer, fashion icon, Ted Danson relationship survivor: There are many ways one can describe comic actor Whoopi Goldberg. We prefer to call her an angel, because goddamnit that is what she is. It’s not really necessary to provide the proof, but we will do so anyway.

In 1992, she starred in Sister Act, soon to be followed by Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.

In 1995, she starred in Theodore Rex, a buddy cop movie co-starring a dinosaur.

In 1996, she starred in the classic film Bogus.

Need we go on? I don’t think so.

But today she’s really doubled down on her philanthropic efforts by offering to sit next to a lonely, snubbed Tiffany Trump during New York Fashion Week.

On one condition: That they DO NOT talk about her dad.

It’s pretty damn generous, I think we can all agree. If all you have to do to get on Whoopi Goldberg’s radar is have a hideous totalitarian dad then it’s really not as bad a world as we all think. Let’s pour one out for Whoopi and Tiffany and the awkward non-conversation they’re going to have at the Phillip Plein 2017/18 show.
