Man, it must really suck to be at the head of a legacy high-fashion brand. Especially when you make really dumb mistakes AND have an internet presence. That’s truly a deadly combination.
Stefano Gabbana, of the legendary Dolce & Gabbana, found this out all too late when he made the epic mistake of dressing First (sort of?) Lady Melania Trump. Or at least complimenting her on her use of a D&G jacket in a press photo.
As you can imagine, it didn’t take long for people to start crying ‘nazi’. Or the much more charming Italian version, ‘Nazista’!
Stefano claims he doesn’t care, but we’re guessing he might when his problematic endorsement hits him in the pocketbook.
